The Intel i7 7700 came out in the beginning of 2017, it has 4 cores and 8 threads. The standard frequency of the i7 7700 is 3.6GHz and the turbo frequency is 4.2GHz. The i7 7700 has a TDP of 65W. The Ryzen 5 5600X came out in late 2020, it has 6 cores, 12 threads and has a base clock of 3.7GHz and a turbo frequency of 4.6GHz. The R5 5600X has a TDP of 65W and is made with Zen 3 architectur.
