Notorious Figures
The song "My Way" has a fascinating history. Originally composed and written by French songwriters Claude François and Jacques Revaux, in 1968 Canadian songwriter Paul Anka bought the publishing rights from them for one dollar and went to work rewriting the lyrics for his friend Frank Sinatra, who he had frequently heard complain, "I&quitting the business. I&sick of it; I&getting the hell out!" Ultimately Sinatra agreed to sing the song, and in 1969 the song spent 75 weeks on the UK Top 40 list, which is 2nd place all-time. NOTE, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS ENSEMBLE HAS BEEN UPLOADED IN 1080p HD.
