Detech SEF 15" x 12" Coil for Garrett Ace 250 - Intro + Air Test Results (Part 1)

Metal Detecting South West Germany! Hey YouTubers, For those of you that have been following my YouTube channel, you&know that I recently decided not to upgrade to the Garrett AT Pro, but instead bought a Detech SEF 38x30cm Coil for my Ace 250 with the idea of saving up a little more to buy a more advanced machine - like the Etrac or the XP Deus. As promised I put together this short video to show my initial thoughts on the new coil, the justification behind the purchase and what I&hoping to get out of the coil. It was YouTube&Pondguru that really motivated me to give this coil a try. He&been using the Detech SEF coil on his Etrac for quite a while now with really good results. The depth increase he noted was quite significant and the ground coverage increase was also excellent. After spending a few months detecting mainly in the forests without very consistent results, I decided to focus my efforts on meeting our local farmers, building a good reputation with them and thus getting permissions to detect on their fields... fields which have proved to be much more successful than the && miss&hunts in the forests. As you all know, hunting a large field is rather time consuming and of course requires efficiency and accuracy. Low and slow is one thing, but when time isn&on your side, you kind of want to be able to cover as much ground as possible... hmm, kind of like DeepDiggerDan in the field when he was visiting Jeff - Cromwell13649 (see Jeff&video intro!! haha) So...
