New Guitar Day! Unboxing and first impressions of the new 2021 Squier by Fender Mini Jazzmaster (Factory Special Run). This is not an in-depth review. In order to make a proper review, we think you need to spend much more time with an instrument. The guitar comes with Squier Standard Humbuckers, the finish is Black with a tortoise pickguard. It has a poplar body, maple neck & fretboard, 20 narrow tall frets and a 22.75 inch scale length. It&available in other colors as well: Olympic White, Daphne Blue and Surf Green (not seafoam green as stated in the video - my bad). If the playing sounds out of tune it is mostly because of the intonation. After filming the video I did a basic setup (new strings, polished the frets (a lot!), lubricated the nut, adjusted the action & intonation, adjusted the height of the humbucking pickups) and now it sounds and plays much better. Other gear used: Fender Blues Junior IV loaded with a Celestion Greenback, JHS Bonsai (JHS Setting) for Dirt Sounds Audio recorded with a Shure MV88+ Timestamps 0:00 Intro 0:15 Unboxing 2:04 Inspecting it and first impressions 8:20 Clean sounds (Blues Junior) 11:31 Dirt sounds (JHS Bonsai) 13:42 My opinion and wrap up All gear used was not sponsored in any way and bought with our own money. There is no affiliation with any dealer or manufacturer. #Jazzmaster
