Summer moved on (a-ha cover)unplugged guitar cover. Smartphone multitrack recording LG G7 Android

The LG G7 and other high end LG smartphones comes with an HD Audio Recorder that also can do multi-tracking (the "custom" mode). This is a test I did in 2017. I only used the guitar and piano you see plus a paper cup filled with sugar to make a shaker and used a plastic box filled with dry cat food as a snare drum. I recorded the guitar three times (center rhythmic chord in mono with bassline +right side chords and melody in stereo). I also hit the muted strings to simulate a high hat and hit the guitar body to make a bass drum sound. The HD recorder also has a simple on/off reverb that I used for some tracks. The reverb is a bit to exaggerated and metallic and can&be adjusted. But it&still useful. Concidering all the tracks were recorded live, it was a challenge to keep the correct timing but I hope this can show people how to multi-track with the phone. I also captured some background noise from the other practice rooms as you may notice. I don&play the guitar often so excuse my crappy playing. Advice when using the audio recorder: To record in stereo, the phone must be held horizontally otherwise it records in mono. When recording the first track, don&listen through ear phones as the latency makes it impossble to play well. Just record and listen to the natural sound.
