Variations on the Wedding Marches (2020) by Scott Meek

Scott Meek, primo Clare Yuan, secondo A set of variations on both the Wedding March from Mendelssohn&Midsummer Night&Dream, and the Bridal Chorus by Richard Wagner, performed by The Meeks Duo. Completed in January 2020. This was originally planned as a set of variations in the style of Liszt&or Horowitz&Wedding March variations, but it instead became a composition based on borrowing and combining existing classical works with elements from the two wedding marches. Sometimes both marches are featured in the same variation, or at the same time.
