Asus K55N SA80403V A10 5750m CPU Memory SSD Upgrade

I wanted to test to see if it was possible to plug and play an A10-5750m into a K55N-SA80403V (to replace the A8-4500m) that I have had since I purchased brand new years ago and give it a little more life. Recently upgraded the RAM to 16GB DDR3 1600 while I was waiting for my CPU to arrive from abroad with no issues. the HDD was also upgraded at the same time the RAM was to an SSD 480GB. BIOS were also flashed to the latest version (217) before attempting to install the A10-5750m. On first test boot after the new CPU was installed, laptop POSTed, but then went to a blank screen. I let it sit for a minute then hard reset it. I booted to BIOS where it showed the A10-5750m registered. Exited and the laptop booted straight to Windows. I searched a lot for this particular topic before I started, but couldn&find any solid answers, probably because of the age of the laptop. However, I decided to make this video so that it may help someone if they have a similar idea of upgrading. Thanks!
