&with Moog&invites you on enlightening journey that answers complex question: how exactly do synthesizers work? In seventh and final episode of Synthesizing with Moog, we zoom out from discreet moment of note and look at how synthesizer creates patterns and musical phrases. Sequencer was initially created by Don Buchla as rudimentary preset storage system, sending preset voltage values to various parameters of synthesizer. When square wave oscillator (or clock) signal is used to address stages of sequencer, melodies begin to emerge, bringing us back to fluidity of time. Written, hosted, filmed and produced by our team of electronic musical instrument experts, this new seven-part educational video series makes learning fundamentals of synthesis accessible, engaging, and inspiring for anyone curious about science, music and how two worlds converge. We set out to create series that brings you as much technical knowledge as it does entertainment and joy as you watch each episode! Playlist: | #Patterns Original video:
