What did you do last weekend?

TRANSCRIPT MARCO: Hi, Lucia. How was your weekend? LUCIA: It was good thanks, Marco. MARCO: What did you do? LUCIA: I went to London with my boyfriend. MARCO: Oh, did you go to the carnival? LUCIA: No, we didn’t. We went to the theatre in the afternoon. MARCO: Oh really? What did you see? LUCIA: We saw the Lion King. MARCO: Was it good? LUCIA: Yes, it was great. I loved the songs! And in the evening, we had dinner at a restaurant next to the river. MARCO: Great! What did you eat? LUCIA: Fish and chips. It was really good! And then we went on a boat trip, and we danced on the boat! MARCO: That’s romantic! Did you stay the night in London? LUCIA: Yes, we stayed at a hotel. MARCO: What did you do on Sunday? LUCIA: We went to the market. MARCO: Oh great. Did you buy anything? LUCIA: Yes, this lovely red jacket. Do you like it? MARCO: Yes, I do. It’s really nice! Did you buy those boots there too? LUCIA: No, I didn’t. These were a present from my dad. MARCO: When did you come home? LUCIA: In the afternoon. We had lunch at the market and we went to the station and got the train home after that. MARCO: What did you eat? LUCIA: We had African food. It was really nice! Hot and spicy! MARCO: It sounds like a great weekend! LUCIA: It was!
