Our favorite setup: How to connect to an Apple Mouse that’s been previously used with another computer? Magic Mouse is super easy to connect to your Mac when it’s brand new, but if you’re given a mouse that’s already paired with another computer, getting it to work with your Mac takes an extra step. There are two ways to reset connections on your Magic Mouse, and we’ll cover both in this video. The easy way - when you have access to the computer that’s currently paired with the mouse. If you have access to the computer that’s currently paired with the mouse, open your system settings, navigate to Bluetooth settings, and locate the mouse you’re about to reset. Right-click the mouse and choose “forget”, then confirm you want your computer to forget this connection.
