This is a &in progress&video demo of the Atari Punk Console (APC) and the Baby 8 Sequencer I am currently working on. The APC creates 8-bit-ish video game synth sounds and can be hooked up to a sequencer via control voltage (CV). Both the sequencer and the APC still need some adjustments and tweaks but they can already be used to create nice noisy patterns. For this video I used a little DIY pocket amp. The APC sounds even better when connected to a proper amp! The APC and the sequencer are popular DIY projects. Many different versions exist. The Baby 8 is a derivative of the famous Baby 10 sequencer whilst the Atari Punk Console is based on a circuit from the 80s published by Forrest M. Mims III. Here are some websites I can recommend as a starting point if you want to build your own APC and Baby 8: UPDATE 29 NOV 2016: I uploaded two pics to my album, in case you need help with the wiring. Make sure you download the pics in full resolution: UPDATE 14 DEC 2017:
