The Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon is the deepest canyon in the world. With a total length of about 504 kilometers, its altitude spans from 7,782 meters at Mount Namjagbarwa to 550 meters around the Yarlung Zangbo River Valley in Medog County, Nyingchi City of southwest China&Tibet Autonomous Region. Places along the middle and lower reaches of the river are rich in biodiversity, and the whole region is known as a natural vegetation museum and the last secret wonderland.
