Shine Like a Star Lyrics

This is my 2000-2001 Mission Park "Stars of Tomorrow" Glee Club singing "Shine Like a Star" which became our theme song/anthem. The song was written by Minnie O&a musician/teacher/artist from Santa Cruz, Ca. Minnie loved children and she loved music. Minnie passed away in 1980 at the young age of 40. She wrote "Shine Like a Star," shortly before she passed away. This song of self-esteem is about individuality, hope, and self-worth. I discovered Minnie&music after she passed away. I wish that I could have met her and I wish she could have heard my "Stars of Tomorrow" sing her song. I think she would have really liked it.
