How to clean the filter on your Dyson Airstrait™ straightener

To maintain optimum performance, your Dyson Airstrait™ straightener needs regular care and maintenance. We recommend cleaning the filter once a month. Always switch off and unplug your appliance before carrying out any maintenance. If it&been in use, allow it to cool down completely. Step 1. Hold the handle of your straightener and pull the filter unit downwards onto the cable. Gently pull open the filter and slide it off the cable. Step 2. Leave the filter unit to soak in warm, soapy water for at least 30 minutes. We recommend using dish soap. Step 3. Using your fingertips, run gently to thoroughly clean both the inside and outside surfaces of the filter. Step 4.. Shake off excess water and leave for 24 hours in a well-ventilated place until completely dry. Step 5.. Refit the filter to the machine by placing the filter back onto the cable and then slide up into position. This film includes subtitles.
