Timing belt replacement for Toyota Hilux 1KD-FTV 3.0D4D| reset timing belt light

How to remove and replace the Toyota Hilux 1KD-FTV 3.0 Diesel timing belt, also how to reset the timing belt light if required This is how I did the belt on my vehicle for the 450,000 Km interval, Toyota recommends replacing the belt, pully, tensioner and the water pump every 150,000 Kms. I did not change my water pump as it was leaking from the tell tale at 400,000 Kms so I changed it then. Same procedure for all 1KD series engines found in Vigo, Prado and Hiace from the same period To reset the timing belt light: -Ensure you are in ODO mode -Turn the key off -Hold the button -Switch the ignition to "on" -Wait around 7 seconds and release and press the button again -15 should be showing, if not select 15 (for the 150Km interval) -Hold the button again to acknowledge 15Km interval until the ODO shows again -The timing belt warning light should switch off Thanks for watching!
