Музыкальные приключения: Мелодический лабиринт
The theme of the song is the love story between Xiang Yu (项羽 Hegemon-King of Western Chu) and Consort Yu (虞姬). Their tragic love story has travelled through thousands of years and infected many audiences. In 202 BC, Xiang Yu retreated to Gaixia, with few soldiers and no food, and was surrounded by enemy troops. In the middle of the night, when he heard besieging people from Han singing the song from Chu, Xiang Yu was shocked, so he stayed up all night drinking in the tent. He had a concubine named Yu, and a horse named Zhui always with him. At that time, Xiang Yu couldn&help but write a poem: "My strength can lift mountains, and my heroic spirit can surpass the world. My luck is bad, my horse does not want to run anymore. He does not move, what can I do? Consort Yu, Consort Yu, what shall I do with you?" In the end, he failed to break through and committed suicide by the Wu River. The original lyrics are beautiful, and I sincerely hope to at least share the meaning with you. #bambooflute
