The Noise fue un club nocturno fundado por Felix Rodriguez (DJ Negro), al que se invitaba a las personas a hacer freestyle con pistas de hip-hop y reggae interpretadas por DJ. The club evolved into a collective, and due to the rise in popularity of its music and attendees, its founder, DJ Negro, began releasing an influential series of CDs called "The Noise," some of which were recorded live at the club. It eventually became a musical group based in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
