All you need is the adapter and an HDMI cable and you are good to go! I also wanted to share a few troubleshooting tips on how to fix your PS2 when there is no video output showing on your TV or monitor. Step by Step Tutorial - Changing PS2 Video Output Settings without having any video on the screen (black screen) 1. Connect all cables to the PS2 and TV/Monitor (power cable, HDMI adapter, HDMI cable, controller) 2. Ensure there are no PS2 discs in your playstation 3. Power on your PS2 and wait 30 seconds 4. Make sure your controller is on (red light under 'Mode') 5. D-Pad down once 6. Press X and wait 10 seconds 7. D-Pad down 3 times 8. Press X 9. D-Pad left once 10. Press X 11. This will change your PS2 settings from RGB to Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pr 12.
