Drummers Hear Paramore Song for First Time

In this video, JR Nelson, Joshua Grant and Ryan Strickland take on "That&What You Get" by Paramore - but with one twist: No original drums. They listen to track drumless and build their own parts from scratch based on how they feel song should go. Three different drummers - three different approaches. After locking in their final takes, they get to hear original version and see how close (or completely different) they were. J.R. Nelson is well known drummer, producer and singer, currently residing in Dallas, Texas. He has amazing resume playing for wonderful gospel artists like Chandler Moore, Travis Greene, Jonathan Nelson, Tye Tribbett, Maverick City, Potter&House, Tim Godfrey, Kirk Franklin and many more. Joshua Grant is very young drummer based in Atlanta, Georgia. Joshua is endorsed with 1710 percussion, drum dots, empire ears and vicfirth. He&well known of channel for blind hearing songs from likes of Slipknot, Iron Maiden etc. We asked him for his strongest genres and he said: Gospel and Funk. Ryan Strickland is gospel drummer now residing in Atlanta, GA. He is well known for his tight pocket and being apart of drummer of summer finalists in 2024. He has done work for artists like Ciara and Lola Brooke. We asked him for his strongest genres and he said: Pop, Christian RnB and Gospel.
