2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (J250) - The Ultimate Off Road Beast. Toyota has finally unveiled the 2024 Land Cruiser Prado – the first truly new Prado in 14 years! Toyota has just officially unveiled the all-new Land Cruiser Prado. This time the model is really new, and not another restyling option. And, it must be said, Toyota was able to surprise: the model has two different design options for the front part. Classic Land Cruisers of the 60s and 70s had round headlights and rectangular ones. And the new Land Cruiser Prado 2024 (the generation received the designation J250) has two options: the basic version with the designation 1958 and the top First Edition received round headlights, and the "medium" configurations have rectangular headlights, in the FJ62 style. The 1958 Land Cruiser Prado has an unpainted grille, making it cheaper to replace or repair than the painted grilles of more expensive versions. At the back, there is no transverse strip that lights up, as in many modern crossovers and SUVs: here two lights are spaced strictly along the corners of the body. The spare wheel is attached from below behind the rear bumper, the rear door is no longer made of two halves - it is monolithic (but the glass can be opened separately from the door). Land Cruiser Prado 2024 is built on the Lexus GX and Land Cruiser 300 platform, but unlike them, the J250 did not get a 3.4-liter V6 engine.
