Tecsun PL-600 image rejection test

Small video about testing my Tecsun PL-600 radio on 80m amateur band. I was using an external antenna, which is actually a 2m long simple wire. The antenna is connected to a Yaesu FC-707 antenna tuner, used as a preselector. By switching the tuner to the untuned "THRU" and the tuned "80m" positions, the difference is clearly audible. The amateur CW transmission on 3520 is totally supressed when the tuner lets the whole spectrum to the input of the radio. When the tuner acts as a preselector, the weak CW transmission can be heard, and the image stations are canceled.
