November, 2009, The push boat, equipped with 2 Detroit 671 engines and 39" propellers squared off against this powerful single engine, twin screw thruster with 24" propellers. This push off was a dead heat match against the much larger pushboat. The hydraulic Thruster reached its propellers 10&into the water and turned them in excess of 1,000 rpms.
