There are three Degrees of Adjective - 1) Positive 2) Comparative 3) Superlative. Generally the Degree of an Adjective is changed by adding "er" and "est" with Positive degree to form Comparative and Superlative respectively. Example :- High - Higher - Highest But this rule is not followed in some exceptional cases.
