This is the first example of a new application of technology - Spectral Reassignment. We have recorded the direct out of a guitar as well as a ribbon mic of the same performance. Next, we created a special EQ curve that filters the output of the guitar to give it the spectral nature of the ribbon mic - and put it in a guitar pedal.
