This song is about the Falklands War which took place in 1982 in the South Atlantic, the islands of Falkland Islands and South Georgia. This war was fought between the United Kingdom and Argentina. A british naval task force was deployed and sent to the islands, and shortly after their arrival the argentinians surrendered to the british. The Falklands is british, and will remain so.
