IEC 61850 communications monitoring and diagnosis system is capable of monitoring and diagnosis of station and process bus traffic: - Analysis of the actual traffic in LAN against SCD file. - Analysis of IEC 61850 messages with identification of packet losses/recovery, configuration changes, timequality changes, data and quality changes, etc. - Identification of messages, not described in SCD file. - Traffic load estimation of LAN segments. - Identification of new/unauthorized hosts in the system. - Waveform recording of signals based on Sampled Values and GOOSE messages. - Signaling of events. - Visualization of GOOSE and Sampled Values communications.
