Key take-aways of Astana BrickScience-2024 scientific and practical seminar

This time, over 170 people from 14 Eurasian countries participated in the event. Apart of the manufacturers, representatives from European ceramic technology suppliers, suppliers of components, raw materials, and consumables actively took part in the seminar. Lectures, seminars, panel discussions introduce a variety in the BrickScience seminar where participants were able to discuss key issues related to modern ceramic material technology and to sign new contracts. As a part of the seminar, attendees visited SG Brick plant, the leading enterprise in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which produces 120 million ceramic bricks per year using the direct setting technology. Considerable attention was given to the specifics of brick plants in the Central Asian region, where the direct setting technology is widely used, which is uncommon in Russia. The participants examined all technological and economic pros and contras of organizing of production by this way. We are grateful to all our participants for their active contribution to the development of the BrickScience seminar, and we look forward to meeting them again in 2025!
