It was built in the late Qing Dynasty and covers an area of five mu. Due to the destruction of four old buildings, cultural relics were destroyed in the 1950s. It was rebuilt in 1995 and lasted six years. After four phases of construction, baomo park has expanded to 168 mu (about 100000 square meters). It is a large Lingnan cultural landscape garden integrating honest official culture, Lingnan ancient architecture, Lingnan Garden Art and the characteristics of the Pearl River Delta. It is a national AAAA tourist attraction.
