Cuphead DLC 300% Speedrun 1:07:18 (FORMER World Record)

EDIT: as of October 17th 2022 the WR is now 1:06:57 by Uramatsu. Played on PC. Deathless run! Overall, really solid. I&very happy with how most of the boss fights turned out. Definitely some room for improvement (King&Leap was sloppy at times, missed Beppi/Sally glitches, King Dice minibosses were a little slow) but this was a nice time! I might dive into other DLC related speedrun categories for the time being, but I definitely plan to come back for a 1:06:XX at some point. Some commonly asked questions: Q: How are you able to play on Expert without beating the game first? A: Speedrunners use something called the "Fresh Expert" glitch for Expert mode categories. Basically, if you have a save file where you&already beaten the game, you access that first and select a boss. On the difficulty select, you put the cursor over "Expert" (no need to actually fight the boss), and then back out and Exit to Title. When you start a new file you will begin the game on Expert. Q: Why do you fight all of the King Dice minibosses? A: While they technically don&contribute to file percentage, we decided in the speedrunning community to include them in the 300% category since it fills out the Checklist in the menu. That&also the same reason we require buying all the weapons/charms despite them not contributing to file percentage either; it&just nice looking from a completionist perspective!
