The RG550 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1997. It is a reissue of the original RG550, which was produced between 1987 and 1994. Like the classic RG550, this reissue has a basswood body and a maple and bubinga neck with a maple fingerboard with dot inlays.
