McNally, and Geoffrey Rush. The first, and currently only, in the series to not feature Orlando Bloom&Will Turner or Keira Knightley&Elizabeth Swann, the film centers on Jack Sparrow and his jilted ex-lover Angelica on a quest to find the legendary Fountain of Youth. Before our heroes, shanghaied aboard the ship of the notorious Blackbeard, can set sail for the Fountain of Youth, they first need the silver chalices of Ponce de León and the tear of a mermaid, the latter of which takes them to Whitecap Bay. There, we find this franchise&version of mermaids, which are bloodthirsty killers who lure men to be drowned and eaten.
