A glance is enough to grasp the different personality of the V-STROM 1050DE, an unstoppable bike ready to face any situation even away from the asphalt. In addition to the compact tinted windscreen, the specific colors and graphics, the spoked wheels are immediately noticeable, with a 21-inch front rim and semi-studded tyres. The bike appears taller, with long-travel suspension that lifts the seat to 880mm off the ground. However, the entire chassis has been redesigned with a view to off-road use. To improve stability on uneven surfaces, the inclination of the steering angle and the length of the wheelbase and the swingarm, which has also been stiffened, have been lengthened. To promote better off-road control, the V-STROM 1050DE also features a wider handlebar and larger footpegs.
