How to Grow Carrots in Containers

This video shows you how to grow carrots in containers. Great for growing on the patio or in your garden. When you grow in containers it reduces the risk of your carrots growing wonky because of coming into contact with stones or clay soil. In compost they are free to grow. Make sure you have fine compost then add sand to make it extra fine. This can be any sand, I used builders sand as it&what I had available. Mix in. I use a rough estimated ratio of 70% compost, 30% sand. Then water the compost. Sow seeds where they are to grow, giving each seed enough room to grow into a carrot. Then sprinkle compost over the top just to cover the seeds. Water when needed and watch them grow!
