Porsche Cayenne 955 Front Door Panel Removal (2004 - 2008)

Certain jobs, such as replacing a window regulator require removing the door panel. Before beginning the task, read the article in full and get a set of thick, large plastic pry bars. These are available at most auto parts or hardware stores. Getting the panels to pop from the door frame is bit of a pain. I actually broke one of my smaller pry bars trying to get enough leverage to pop them free. Work around the edge, close to the plastic clips and work one by one downward. Once the panels are removed, check all of the mounting cups on the door panel. The plastic clips can sometimes pull free of the cups and still be mounted in the door. If this is the case, carefully pry the clip at its base out of the door panel. If the clip is still in good shape, slide it into the cup on the door.
