Chords/lyrics written below... Week 23 - Why Can&This Be Love Sorry I&a day late, but we had construction in the house last week - power tools don&mix with recording. As for the music this is and will always be my number one summer driving song. This CD goes into the car as soon as it is warm enough to roll down the windows, it stays there till it is too cold to open them anymore and it gets played non-stop. The funny thing about this year is, for the first time I could actually kinda hit the notes as I sang along with it. So I pushed a little harder and here we are. I guess this Song-A-Week thing is working. Obviously Eddie is the guy who started me playing guitar and with the Dutch connection I there was gonna be a VH song worked in somewhere. I just never thought it would be this one, but it rocks and it worked because it has a pretty simple solo/bridge part. Tricky guitar solos without backing tracks only sounds sloppy. i know that the intro part is totally wrong, but would have taken too much time to figure out more accurately. I didn&want to just leave it out because it sets the vibe, so I kinda did something rough based around the chorus and moved on. I also did my best to fit the keyboards onto a guitar and went with it. Anyways, it is an awesome tune, that &the test of time&and I actually think could still be a hit today.
