I don&own any rights for the song or any part of it. "Do Re Mi" is one of the last songs written and recorded by Kurt in his bedroom in the Seattle house. He recorded the solo acoustic demo in early 1994, and it was released on "With The Lights Out". That&the version in the video and the only one available to the general public as of now. There may be more in the vaults, recorded with Pat and Eric Erlandson in the basement of the same house. Until the vaults are raped, no actual bassline is known, so I came up with my own. I tabbed it just not to interrupt the concept of the channel. I believe, for everyone who&going to cover this song on bass, it&much more fun to create their own bassline than to copy mine. Originally titled "Dough, Ray and Me" and then "Me and my IV," the song was supposedly going to be released on an EP that coincided with Nirvana&appearance at Lollapalooza &but the project was scrapped when Cobain backed out of the tour. There is no known information about if this song was even recorded in a studio. It is said that Kurt once described this as the "perfect Alice in Chains song." And it&been reported that Courtney found a napkin with some lyrics and the title "Me and My IV". Courtney began mentioning the song in interviews shortly after Kurt&death, naming it...
