TC Electronic Spark Booster pedal overdrive boost demo with Fender 50&Strat and Orange OR15 amp high gain and clean. One of the best boost/OD pedals out there. Extremely transparent if required, powerfully tone shaping if needed. FAQ: - it sounds massively different through different rigs, setups and playing styles - it can sound like a TS/OD9 - it can sound like a Timmy - it&extremely versatile - with vintage style single coils, the CLEAN mode is clean even when maxed and strummed hard. Potential for boosting an amp into massive responsive distortion is obvious - with active humbuckers, the clean mode stays squeaky clean only till about 10 o&on the gain knob. The overdrive tones after that are extremely transparent and very good - both MID and FAT add a bit of overdrive from the very beginning. The amount varies heavily depending on the guitar and playing technique - it&very good running into very high headroom devices, but it will do wonders to a tube amp in need of a push - runs of 9VDC center negative. 16ma draw.
