Hey! Thanks for watching me /first ever/ vocal cover on my channel! I never would have thought I&be singing in the internet, but here we are... Now, I&certainly no American Idol, though I&always /liked/ singing, & have been told I&pretty good at it, but I usually only ever sing in a crowd, or when I&totally alone, never as like a performance.. I guess my brain rationalized that by convincing me that YouTube is much different than like, a stage.. You can mess up as much as you need to & tidy it all up in post, as opposed to a singel sub-par take... I was really fighting myself over whether or not I /really/ wanted to go through with this ~ in fact I had asked my sister if she would be willing to sing for me (ya know, since the song is sung by Monika.. a girl.. I figured that made sense.) But, she declined.. *sigh* & I mean, it&be kinda lame to leave a song with vocals as just an instrumental.. So I guess it was my duty to step up to the plate. You can tell stage fright has me in a choke hold though.. I definitely don&have a good performance face!! I look like I&being told to sing on camera at gunpoint! huehue.. But I mean, as dumb as I look on camera, I feel like it&be weirder to just have a disembodies voice looming over a piano video, so.. ya gotta do what ya...
