In this two part video, we start with a deep dive into the schematic and tube amp theory behind the changes I plan to make. I try to explain this in a very non-technical way, for the non-engineer type viewers. Yes I leave out some details, but the point is for folks without a deep electrical/electronics background to understand what I am doing. And more importantly, what they will hopefully be doing! I also review how the changes we made to the power supply sonically improved the amp and in part two, I will focus on doing the actual changes to the 6SN7 front end.
