In this review, we cover two UNI-T multimeters: UT33C and UT33D. At first sight, both multimeters look similar. The multimeters are compact to the extent they may fall within the category of pocket-sized multimeters. They are made of high-quality plastic covered with protective rubber coating and come with a small support stand. Their basic functionality is essentially the same: both can measure direct and alternating voltage up to 500 V and direct current up to 10 A. Both can run continuity tests. However, the UT33D model has a wider resistance measuring range – up to 200 MΩ, while the UT33C has a range up to 20 MΩ. Besides, the UT33D has a built-in square wave generator with a frequency of 50 Hz and an amplitude of 2 V, with a peak-to-peak voltage of 4 V. Both UT33C and UT33D have a Data Hold button and a display backlight button. Green display backlight is invisible in the daylight. Both devices have a loud continuity buzzer, which works without delay. Measurement ranges are switched manually. Outputs for test leads are located in the bottom part of the device. - COM input terminal - input terminal for measuring resistance and current up to 200 mA - terminal for measuring direct current up to 10 A ☞ The main difference between the two is that the UT33C can perform temperature measurements. Despite their low price, UNI-T UT33C and UT33D are highly reliable multimeters. ☞Find more digital multimeters at: Find us on social networks for more updates and useful tips:...
