We&been fans of both AKAI MPC and Elektron for past 3 years and have seen them as entirely different worlds. However, AKAI MPC 3 has introduced really cool feature that bridges gaps between those worlds. By far our favorite feature on Elektron grooveboxes (Syntakt, Digitone 2, Digitakt 2, etc) is Ctrl+All, feature that lets you manipulate key synth parameters across multiple tracks simultaneously. For first time, you&able to do something similar on AKAI MPC using its very powerful performance macros and Q-Link encoders. In this tutorial, we show few examples and walks through process of setting these macros up. We highly encourage you to give it go! In this track uses some of paid plugins from AKAI, including Jura synth (our favorite synth at moment for Synthwave!), OPx4 and Air Delay Pro.
