Quick look at a Panasonic RF 2900 shortwave radio

A quick look at a SW radio I picked up a while ago. It covers .. 88 to 108 Mhz FM 530 to 1600 Khz AM 3.2 to 8 Mhz SW 8 to 16 Mhz SW 16 to 30 Mhz SW It has a BFO for SSB and CW reception. My impression is it has relatively good AM and SW reception for a solid state radio while operating on it&internal antenna. The fact that you can turn off the VFD frequency readout is a good power saving feature when you are operating off of battery power. The VFD readout appears to be relatively accurate. It has an external antenna input, and multiple audio output jacks for speakers or tape recorders.
