Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen VS PreSonus Studio 24c for Podcasting

Comparing the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen to the PreSonus Studio 24c for podcasting. I am not an expert when it comes to audio equipment, but it seems clear to me that the Scarlett is the superior audio interface for podcasting based on its slightly stronger pre-amp and much smaller size. It is more expensive at about $170 compared to the $140 of the Studio 24c, but it will drive cheaper microphones better so overall it looks like the better choice. I used the Audio-Technica ATR 2100x and the Shure SM58 for this test, both of which are solid mics. The Audio-Technica has the advantage of having its own pre-amp, but the Shure performs a bit better. My podcasts are:
