Add the Quick Launch Toolbar to the Taskbar in Windows 11

**UPDATE** Check out our updated video down at the bottom of the description for an alternate way to add the Quick Launch toolbar to Windows 11. **UPDATE 2** Check out our video on the newly updated Explorer Patcher app. As Windows progresses, Microsoft tends to remove many of the features and tools we power users have grown to love. One of them that was removed some time ago was the Quick Launch toolbar that let you have small icons over by your start button that you could click on to open your programs and apps. With Windows 10 it was fairly easy to get this back by right clicking on the taskbar and choosing New toolbar but Windows 11 doesn&have these right click menu options. You can now install a program called Explorer Patcher that will bring back this functionality to Windows 11. Then you will have your right click options back and can add the Quick Launch toolbar. Here is the path you can copy and paste once you have Explorer Patcher installed. %SystemDrive%Users%username%AppDataRoamingMicrosoftInternet Explorer FYI you can remove the Search and Task View icons by going to the Windows settings - Personalization - Taskbar and disabling them. You can also get your Start menu to pop up on the left by setting the taskbar alignment to the left from the Personalization - Taskbar settings from the Taskbar behaviors settings.
