Here&a quick demo of the Mosky Audio &M-Shall&Speaker Simulator guitar pedal. This pedal is designed for sending your signal directly to a mixing desk when playing live or a DAW when recording. When used this way it sounds great but I can confirm that it does not sound very good when used like a traditional overdrive pedal in front of a clean guitar amp. This pedal features separate knobs for Low, Mid and High EQ and also Level, Gain and Voice (a tonal sweep of various Marshall amp characteristics). I think it&&by&the Tech 21 British Marshall Sans Amp pedal. This pedal seems to be well built and offers a very usable range of sounds. This demo is played using a bridge position humbucker pickup on a &style guitar played through a DAW into a monitor speaker. There is no other speaker or amp simulation in the DAW and the only effect is a touch of reverb. Please note that the audio is only being recorded with a mobile phone so it¬ great quality but hopefully it still gives you a rough idea of the sounds this pedal can produce.
