Here is a quick easy to the point video on how to remove your EGR valve and tube. If your getting CEL and CODE PO400 chances are the tube just needs cleaning, and or possible replacement of the vacuum lines. 1) Remove the Engine Cover 2) Remove your MAF Sensor 3) Remove your Intake Tube ( two clips, and one 10mm bolt) 4) Remove the Sensor Harness on Rear Passenger Side Fuel Injector 5) Remove the EGR Solenoid Harness ( yellow) 6) Spray Penetating oil on the EGR upper Nut 7) Loosen the Two E12 Bolts on the EGR Valve Body 8) Loosen the Two E10 Bolts on the back of the EGR Tube 9) Remove the Vacuum Line running from Intake Manifold to your EGR Valve Body 10) Remove all 4 Bolts holding the EGR Valve and Tube in place 11) Slowly rotate the EGR valve to free the tube from the manifold ( its a bent/curved pipe so you will have to work it out 12) To remove the EGR tube from the EGR valve body, simply hold the valve body, and rotate the tube to the left to loosen it 13) Inspect the tube for build up, and clean it ouy 14) Check the EGR Valve for build up and clean this out as well 15) Check and Replace the Vacuum Lines 16) Then Re-install, Clear the Code, and test drive
