DIY M103 Turbo With CIS k-Jet

This is going to be a video on how to turbo your m103 2.6 or 3.0 inline 6 mercedes engine with the standard cis setup. I apologize in advance for the video quality im a mechanic that is new to the recording world im going to try my best to do breakdowns for everyone on all things to do with the 80s and 90s mercedes. The parts list you&need to do a full turbo setup is going to be - turbo manifold ( there are many different places to get the turbo manifolds just do a quick search online I got mine from desert designz) - oil feed and oil drain hoses (you can usually find kits that come with both and the bolts needed for the turbo - turbo ( I¬ going to tell you you have to get a name branded turbo or some cheap turbo this is entirely up to you keep in mind you can not add more than 8lbs of boost with the stock cis setup if you want more you need to add efi) - exhaust vband or downpipe adapter to start your exhaust this will vary on what turbo style you get - 10AN fitting with a nut on the back for the oil pan you CAN NOT tap the oil pan its to thin I&seen many issues with people trying to do this - intercooler piping if you want to do the same setup I have you only need a single 45&angle piece - blow off valve pick the right size for the turbo you chose - external wastegate if your turbo doesn&have one built in - silicone hoses for your intercooler piping from turbo to Throttle body - oil filter sandwich they are all universal just pick a color you want....
