Sony DVP-CX860

A changer for 300 CD&or DVD&In a relatively small size device you can fit all your DVD&and/or CD&and never swap them again. And if 300 is not enough you can even link multiple units together to expand the capacity even more… The DVP-CX860 is surprisingly compact! This is because Sony has done very clever compared to earlier models: the DVD/CD laser is positioned in the center of the carroussel. Previously this always at the back, making CD changers very bulky. Compared to the DVP-CX850D with a depth of 50.3 cm, the DVP-CX860 is almost 20% reduced with its depth of 41.5 cm. It also took a lot of time for the CD to travel from the front where you loaded it to the back. Now it can be loaded directly. Nice automatically opening and closing door. Another clever feature is the FLIP function. If you insert a DVD/CD with the wrong side facing the laser, the DVP-CX860 can flip the disc automatically! As you can see in the video, it will unload the disc and insert it at the back side. When you unload the disc it will insert it on the front side so that it is correct for the next time that you load it. Quite clever!
