In this Is This Love guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this legendary ballad by Whitesnake it its entirety. The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E. Is This Love is co-written by guitarist John Sykes, and he performed all of the guitar parts on the original recording. There is quite a lot going on in this song guitar-wise. Many of the rhythm guitar parts are layered and there is a lot of harmony guitar work all of over the place as well. In the transcription that I will teach in this lesson, I will try to organize everything to be played by just a couple of guitar players. So we won&be covering every harmony line, just the top harmony line and stuff like that. John Sykes&main guitar solo is simply amazing.
