Federal Signal Thunderbeam RSH-10A, Alert: Henderson, KY (Henderson Co. Tornado Siren Test, HD)

Copyright 2014, Brandon Mendel (Please use with permission). Originally Recorded 11/7/2014 This is a weekly test of Henderson County&Weather Siren System tested every Friday at Noon. I believe the city police test Henderson&sirens, but I¬ too sure about the other ones. The county owns and operates a mixture of Thunderbeams (a couple of which don&rotate normally), numerous 2001s, three RM-130s, and an STH-10. The siren on this video is located along Atkinson Street and runs a 30 second test cycle much like the rest of Henderson&sirens. Except there&this one, stubborn 2001 which can faintly be heard towards the end but, we will talk about that one later. I also left an audio recorder next to a church near US 60 and Bend Gate Road as well and hope to get that ambience video up soon. A lot of cool things can be heard on that clip.
